grease. post 1.

so this week i watched grease for my coding project. and granted i was looking for sexual content because of the actual assignment, but WOW seriously i never realized when i was younger how sexually saturated this movie is! yoh! haha and yet somehow i knew the word to the songs and it was a classic in my mind. it made em think for what we talked about in class, just because a child doesn't understand the content should they still be allowed to watch it. good question? i probably would say no, just because even as i am now older i like grease cause its a classic, but it really isnt good in regards to sexual content. just because they don't understand doesn't mean they wont get attached to the movie.

AMEN! yay for families. and oh how grateful i am for mine, for people. it really is important to focus on what matters most.

motherhood. post 1.

so we watched this video in one of my classes as we talked about the importance of motherhood and its just SO inspiring. it got my eyes a little wet thinking about my mother, and my sister as a mother, and how i will be one someday. and just so many mothers that have made an impact in my life. i am SO grateful for mothers and all they do, and that i will get the chance to be one, one day.

cowboys and aliens. post 2.

haha. ok dont laugh too hard but i actually really liked this movie. (probably because i am secretly in love with daniel craig muahahahaha) but i though it was good. i mean you have to go into realizing that the title of the movie is cowboys and aliens so you are getting what you ask for but its good. i think it actualy has a story line which may come as a surprise with this one. i realize it came out awhile ago but i just got around to watching it and i would recommend it.
also i love that media also can bring people together. after i watched this movie with my roommate we talked about it, chated and LAUGHED so hard about our "crushes" on movie starts that we have never met. i love taht we fall in love with people on TV. hahah oh i love it! yay media! and yay daniel craig! :) 

i phone. post 1.

ok so i know this may seem like a lame post but i seriously love my i phone. and i dont mean that in a snoby way, i just am grateful for it. i love technology with my phone i can see my niece and nephew via great pictures even though i cant be with them, as well as my siblings adn parents. and i can talk to my family any time! i love that i can also face time with them. and i love my apps i can read the scriptures, use my dictionary to help me learn more. i can keep in touch with people who need me, e-mail etc. i just really love my phone! yay! :)

Beckum and Eden. post 2.

oh i LOVE these babies! they are SOOOOOOO cute! my sister sent me this picture on valentines day. i am grateful for quick media that makes my day with pictures like these. media really can and does bless my life for sure!

Mat Kearney. post 1.

so this week i got to go to the Mat Kearney concert! oh it was SO good! i was reminded again how much i love media! and how much i appreciate seeing it live! he was such a great performer! he even came on to the floor and walked through the crowd, (yeah i got to touch him!). but he played my favorite song on his new album "she got the honey." haha that song makes me laugh and it was great. i did take a little video (utilizing lots of media sources) although i apologize its shaky (i tried not to jump but just got so excited). enjoy!
